This tour starts after discovery days in the cosmopolitan city of Vienna and leads over the most beautiful roads of the foothills of the Alps and the Salzkammergut to the world heritage city of Salzburg. Then it’s off to the Tyrolean mountains to Seefeld, everywhere with an overnight stay in the legendary 5 * Sacher establishments.
Vienna – Baroque City and Imperial and Royal Monarchy Monarchy
Experience Vienna, the centre of several lost worlds. Bulwark of the Occident during the Turkish siege, magnificent baroque city under Maria Theresa, centre of the imperial and royal monarchy and celebrated Art Nouveau metropolis – Vienna was once all this, and like in hardly any other city all these times have left their traces until today.
Before the start of the car tour, you can enjoy the capital city flexibly over a few days, both historically and culinary, at the legendary Hotel Sacher.
Day 1: Tour from Vienna to Salzburg
Here, participants experience the most beautiful roads of the Vienna Woods and the Austrian Pre-Alps until the first break in Melk.
In the baroque world heritage site of Melk Abbey there is a guided tour and refreshments.
The tour then leads along romantic roads to the 1000-year-old town of Steyr for lunch on the historic main square.
In the afternoon, the tour continues along the most beautiful lake roads of the Salzkammergut with a short coffee break to the Hotel Sacher in Salzburg.
Salzburg – Mozart and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage
Salzburg is not only rich in sights, the city on the Salzach also has a long history as a metropolis of art and culture. The lively flair and special charm that characterise Salzburg are best experienced on a walk through the historic centre. You can explore Salzburg’s old town wonderfully on foot.
Relax at the Hotel Sacher and explore Salzburg. Our recommendation is a sightseeing / relaxation day before and after the 2nd day of the tour.
Day 2: Salzkammergut Tour – on the tracks of the Porsche family
From Salzburg, guests travel via the beautiful Irrsee lake to a gourmet lunch on the Wallersee lake.
In the afternoon, it’s off to Mattsee, the driving area, for a tour of the Ferdinand Porsche Erlebniswelten and a coffee break.
Day 3: Tour from Salzburg to Seefeld
From Salzburg, this journey takes you across the Bavarian countryside to world-famous Kitzbühel.
The legendary Stanglwirt serves the best Tyrolean delicacies.
The last stage with an afternoon break in a Renaissance castle through the beautiful Inn Valley ends at the Alpine Resort Sacher.
Seefeld – breathtaking nature and relaxation
At the Alpin Resort Sacher you can explore the most beautiful hiking tours and then relax with the best alpine wellness. In addition, you will be pampered with Gault Millau award-winning culinary delights. This is where the Austria trip ends with the desired days of relaxation in the mountains.
Optional driving day 4: Tour Ötztal – Lechtal – Bavaria with Elmau Castle
This beautiful tour leads via the Ötztal, the idyllic Hahntenjoch and the Lechtal to Berwang.
A chateau serves a delicious lunch with a view of the Zugspitze.
The afternoon route leads into neighbouring Bavaria for a coffee break at the famous Elmau Castle.
After this visit, the last stage leads past the Karwendel Mountains and the Geisterklamm gorge back to beautiful Seefeld.
Lake District Carinthia – Tours to Italy and Slovenia
From the beautiful Lake Wörthersee, participants experience the most beautiful landscapes, the best cuisine and of course the most exclusive vehicles.
The sensational karst plateau of the Friuli region with its nature reserves, cultural heritage and world-famous specialities such as prosciutto from San Daniele. Plus the incomparable mountain region of northern Slovenia.
Carinthia and Lake Wörthersee
The unique feeling of being at the small metropolis on Lake Wörthersee is immediately tangible. At the Schlosshotel you can enjoy the wonderful wellness landscape with a view of the lake. Gourmet restaurants, boutiques, the most extraordinary parties, or simply relaxation, everything is here on the doorstep.
Tour 1: Slovenia – Italy – the most beautiful mountain passes
The tour starts past Lake Faak over the Wurzen Pass across the border to Slovenia past Podkoren to Tarvis.
At the beautiful golf course we have a gourmet lunch with a view of the Triglav National Park.
The afternoon takes us past Lago de Predil over the Nevea Saddle to Chiusaforte. We continue over the Passo Pramollo to Nassfeld.
At a small mountain lake with a panoramic view, there will be a rustic snack at an alpine hut.
The last stage takes the participants past Lake Pressegg along the River Gail back to Lake Wörthersee.
Tour 2: Nockalm Biosphere Park – one of the most beautiful Alpine roads
From Velden, the tour leads along Lake Wörthersee via Techelsberg, Feldkirchen and Bad Kleinkirchheim to the beginning of the Nockalm Road.
After many scenically spectacular bends and mountain peaks, there is a lunch with panoramic views.
The cosy alpine pasture serves rustic, genuine food from its own farm.
After the last section of the Bisosphere Park, the route continues via the beautiful Innerkrems to Lake Millstättersee for a coffee break with lake views.
Then for the final stage via Lake Ossiach back to idyllic Lake Wörthersee.
